Porcelain Veneers & Lumineers

Transformative dentistry for a tailor-made smile.

The advantages of veneers and Lumineers

Virtually all patients with cosmetic problems are candidates for dental veneers if they are in good oral health. As a cosmetic dentistry treatment, veneers aren't meant to resolve functional issues with teeth, such as a bad bite (malocclusion). Instead, they can be a great option if you have the following issues in your smile zone, or the teeth that show when you smile:

Are you a candidate for porcelain veneers or Lumineers?

  • Small chips or cracks
  • Minor gaps or crowding
  • An uneven smile
  • Deep discoloration or stains
  • Worn-down tooth enamel
  • Minor malformation or crookedness

Our custom veneer and Lumineer process

Step 1

Personalized consultation

We want to understand what you wish you could change about your smile, how the current look of your teeth affects your daily life, and what goals you have for your new smile.

We'll thoroughly examine to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy enough for veneers. We may also recommend other treatments to stabilize your oral health before addressing your smile aesthetics.

Step 2

Treatment planning

The key to a beautiful smile is that it looks completely natural and functions well. As we create your custom treatment plan, we pay close attention to your facial features, smile shape, lip line, skin tone, natural tooth shade, and many other factors to ensure we create a truly customized smile.

While porcelain veneers are very thin, we'll need to adjust the shape of your natural enamel to make space for them to sit flush with the line of your smile. Lumineers can sometimes be attached directly to your teeth, but sometimes they need slight adjustments to achieve the best result. The process is very comfortable, but if you have dental anxiety or need other treatments during the same visit, we can offer a variety of anesthesia options to help you relax. Temporary composite veneers and Lumineers are created on-site with our 3D printer, which you'll wear until the final veneers are ready.

Step 3

Delivery of final teeth

Our team will check the fit of your permanent veneers and Lumineers and make any minor adjustments if needed. A photosensitive dental adhesive bonds veneers or Lumineers to your tooth surface, and then a curing light hardens the cement. Although veneer teeth don't require special maintenance other than proper brushing and flossing, avoiding tobacco and stain-causing foods and beverages can increase longevity.

Investing in your confidence

Porcelain veneers and Lumineers offer a cost-effective and efficient solution in cosmetic dentistry. They provide a stunning new smile with less time and expense than surgical procedures like dental implants.

To address potential cost concerns, we partner with third-party financing companies, allowing us to offer affordable, low monthly payment plans. This approach makes dental care accessible and manageable, ensuring you can achieve your dream smile without financial compromise.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between veneers and Lumineers?

Both are thin shells bonded to the front of your teeth. Porcelain veneers are very thin but still require us to adjust the shape of your natural enamel so they sit flush with your smile line. Lumineers can sometimes be attached directly to your teeth, though sometimes they need slight adjustments for the best result.

Will I have teeth while the final veneers are made?

Yes. Temporary composite veneers and Lumineers are created on-site with our 3D printer, which you'll wear until the final veneers are ready.

Can veneers fix my bite?

No. As a cosmetic treatment, veneers aren't meant to resolve functional issues with teeth, such as a bad bite (malocclusion). We'll assess whether functional treatment is needed first.

How do I make them last?

Veneer teeth don't require special maintenance other than proper brushing and flossing, but avoiding tobacco and stain-causing foods and beverages can increase longevity.
