You Won't Believe How Much These Celebrities Spent on Their Grillz!

Hip-hop artists tend to flaunt their style and appearance. In recent decades, grillz have become a fashion stamp for many featured stars. At first grillz were only seen used in the hip-hop industry, but trending artists such as Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber have brought grillz into the modern pop culture. While grillz have become a common jewelry accessory for anyone, it’s unlikely we’d ever spend as much as some celebrities. Here are the top 10 celebrities with the most expensive set of grillz.

Paul Wall - $20000

Wall is known for his own rapping releases, but even better, being a grill set designer. While his teeth grillz is only worth $20,000 he has created sets for other famous artist, especially some others in the list.

Travis Scott - $25000

When you’re touring with Rihanna, especially if you are opening up for her, you need to have a big look. Travis Scott spent a nice $25000 on a new mouth grill, consisting of 10 carat pink, brown, blue and white diamonds. Those diamonds though, don’t shine as bright as Rihanna.

Ryan Lochte – $25000

Most recently involved in Dancing with the Stars, and representing America in the Rio Olympics, Ryan Lochte gave us a patriotic smile back at the 2012 London Olympics. While he had previously worn grillz during meets, he was specifically asked to not wear them onto the medal podium. Rebellious in nature, Ryan Lochte didn’t care what the media thought about him, and managed to pull off wearing grillz holding his gold in the air, as if to challenge anyone who thought less of him to take that medal away from him.

Nelly - $30000

A rapper of his own uniqueness, Nelly showed off a flashy $30,000 grill set in his music video. A full set of blue diamonds, he had his order custom made by Paul Wall.

Paul was later interviewed for Nelly’s blue teeth. Paul recalled, “When Nelly first called me up, blue diamonds were gaining attention at the time and nobody had a blue grill yet. When he called up and asked for something that no one else ever had, I knew what I had to create for him. It was an all blue diamond set, hand crafted.”

Keli & Nas - $36000

Singer Keli and Rapper Nas each got a platinum grills costing $36,000 each in commemoration of their engagement in 2004. Since then, they have divorced, but both still have their engagement grillz. Keli also has gold and diamond fronts made by Paul Wall for her music video, “Bossy”.

T-Pain - $30000

T-Pain isn’t just known for auto-tuning his voice. He can be seen smiling with a full set of yellow-diamond teeth. Being unique as he is, it’s still easy to sing like him. Just download an auto-tune application and purchase a $30,000 grillz for your teeth.

Lil’ John - $50000

One of Lil’ John’s most famous pieces is a Dracula grill made by Paul Wall. The greatest part about these grillz is they got to experience Lil’ John blowing up, be a part of album covers, music videos, and pretty much everywhere and anywhere Lil’ John went. Lil’ John was the first celebrity Paul Wall furnished grillz for, and is certainly not the last.

Lil’ John’s current set of platinum and diamond grillz are valued at $50,000. With these grillz his name went down as the “King of da Grillz” back in 2009.

Kanye West - $60000

There’s many speculations as to whether Kanye’s bottom row of diamond teeth are real or fake. Some dentists believe that Kanye has a diamond bridge or diamond crowned implants, which would make the most sense. Yet, if they are the real thing, Kanye’s grillz are worth $60,000.

Lil’ Wayne - $150000

On a Jimmy Kimmel interview back in 2011, Lil’ Wayne told the comedian his mouth was worth $150,000. However, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. said he had to remove his diamond teeth back in 2010 for a cheaper, less flashy set of grillz when he served jail time in 2010, as they weren’t allowed inside the cell blocks.

More celebrities are out there with grillz, but we haven’t got the slightest clue of how much their grillz are worth. Did we miss someone out of the Top 10, be sure to tell us!
